COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is where the party starts. For those just getting into trail running, who’ve ticked off a road half or marathon and are looking for something to get excited about – the Kosci30 is made for you.

We’ve hand-picked the best trails, the best elements of the alpine ultra experience and whittled it down into 30 of the best kilometres ever.

Starting at the ski hub of Persiher, Kosci30 runners will take in plenty of alpine views before taking the journey down the mountain to Bullocks Flat. From here they'll make a short trip up the flowy trails of the Thredbo Valley to the finish line waiting at Friday Flat in Thredbo.

30km of fun, flowy and gorgeous trails await - the perfect gateway to the world of trail running!

COURSE DESCRIPTION

*Maps subject to change, and may change for reasons outside of the Race Organisers control. Select the Time Charts tabs to view the cut-off times for leaving the relevant checkpoint. Time Charts show estimated fastest and slowest times for each race leg and should be used as a guide only. Where the slowest times are greater than the cut-off time, the cut-off time will supersede the slowest expected estimates. If you miss the cut-off then you must follow the directions of officials. Please note that in bad weather _conditions, cut-offs may need to be brought forward during the event.

MANDATORY GEAR

Every runner at Kosci will have to carry mandatory gear. The mandatory gear list contains what we believe is the absolute minimum to keep you safe during the event and in the Snowy Mountain’s unpredictable weather systems.

TRAINING ON COURSE

The Kosci30 course is publically accessible throughout the year, offering the opportunity to train on course prior to raceday. However note that many sections are covered in snow in the colder months.

Please take care and give way to members of the general public when training on course.
