There are lots of ways to get around the Snowy Mountains during event week! Check out the options below.
PARKING
Free parking is available at Perisher for the Kosci30, Kosci50, and Kosci100 start lines. We use the main Perisher Carpark and if need be we can activate the overflow lot to accommodate additional vehicles. This may result in minor delays in getting to the start line so please plan accordingly.
We encourage you to book a start line shuttle bus which will drop you off right next to the start line. We will release Spectator tickets at the end of July. Spectators will be able to catch the shuttle back to Jindabyne, Bulllocks Flat or Thredbo afterwards.
There is plenty of free parking in the streets surrounding the KosciMiler start line in Jindabyne, please obey all parking signs.
Free parking is available next to the finish venue in Friday Flat, Thredbo. There are also free shuttle buses that run from this car parking area to Thredbo Village, and the Village Green checkpoint during some daylight hours. Alternatively it is a 900m walk.
For visiting checkpoints, support crews will need to make their way around via their own vehicle (with the exception of Charlotte Pass which will only be accessible via bus). Checkpoint parking varies from abundant to not much, depending on the checkpoint. Not all checkpoints are accessible by vehicle. Please see here for further information.
Please note, Thredbo, Perisher and many of the checkpoints, are located within the Kosciuszko National Park. Any vehicles driving into the National Park will need a NSW Parks Pass (day or annual), which can be purchased at Park Information Centres or at the toll gates when entering the park. EVENT SHUTTLE BUSES
Shuttle buses will run throughout the event to get athletes and spectators to (and from) start lines, finish lines and checkpoints! Runner Shuttle bus tickets are now available to purchase through your Participant Dashboard portal (please select "Add additional purchases"). Spectator Shuttle bus tickets will be released at the end of July.
Note, shuttle bus purchases are available online until sold out. If you have missed out on a ticket please visit the information desk at the Jindabyne Memorial Hall at Check In to enquire as to whether any spare seats have become available.
Note that the bus prices also includes a National Parks entry fee for each bus passenger. If you drive a vehicle into the National Park you will need to purchase a separate vehicle pass (refer to Parking section above).

*The delay in returning to Jindabyne and Thredbo is to allow for all start groups to commence. Some spectators may get to watch their runners complete their first small loop and come back past the Perisher start line.
**Note there is no event traffic to Charlotte Pass. Spectators must book the paid shuttle bus from Perisher to access both the Charlotte Pass Resort and Charlotte Pass Lookout checkpoints until tickets are exhausted. Please note, children aged 5 or under are free to travel on this service, but a ticket must be booked.
